  Book Discussion Group   Join other Older Adults in lively and thought provoking discussions based on group selected books of all genres

  Caring Cards Correspondent   Write and send birthday cards, "thinking of you" notes, and/or "praying for you" notes to Older Adults, particularly homebound older adults

  Driven by Love Driver   Provide transportation to and from the church for older adults living in area retirement communities who are unable to drive themselves; respond to older adult requests for short-term and short-distance

  ENCORE!
Planning Team 		  Assist as part of a team in suggesting and arranging for monthly on-site program opportunities for Older Adults at Christ Church

Food
Coordinator 		  Plan and arrange for the lunch component of the monthly ENCORE! day

  ENCORE!
Lunch Event Theme Team 		  Work as part of a team in decorating tables and gathering area for ENCORE! events for Older Adults

  Homebound Visitation   Visit Christ Church Older Adult members that are homebound to insure they know they are a part of Christ Church community and fellowship

  JOY! Planning
Team 		  Assist as part of a team in planning monthly off-site trips and events for the Older Adults of Christ Church

  Prayer Shawl
Ministry Team 		  Knit or crochet simple shawls for individuals needing a flexible, tangible expression of our church’s prayers enfolding them at difficult times in their lives; participants can work individually or in groups that meet regularly

  Retirement
Community or Assisted Living Facility Bible Study Leader 		  Provide Christian love and support through the leading of Bible studies for Older Adults living in area Retirement communities such as Atria, Greatwood, Oasis, Plantation, or Terrace; or assisted living facilities such as Colonial Oaks

  Telephone Buddies   Make regular phone calls to Christ Church Older Adults that are homebound and unable to physically be a part of our church communities fellowship
