Missions

Change the World
When I am helping another, why does it feel so good, so right? Because I am working in tune with what God has created me for and what Christ has called me to do. Christ Church members are people of action and are found faithful to what the Gospel has called them to do…“Feed my lambs”…”Take care of my sheep” (John 21:15-16). They know the Gospel means nothing unless we put it into practice.

GET OUT OF THE PEWS!
Take His love beyond this building...past these doors...and straight into your heart...and the heart of others.

The leaders of each of these missions are waiting for your call.

Nothing But Nets
Malaria kills a child every 30 seconds in Africa, and bed nets are the most cost-effective way to protect children from the mosquitoes that carry this killer disease. The people of The United Methodist Church are a founding partner in the Nothing But Nets campaign. For each $10 donation, an insecticide-treated bed net is purchased and distributed to Africa, where education also is provided about its use. Checks can be made out to "CUMC," but please notate “Nothing But Nets” on your check.
