Older Adults are invited to our ‘day apart’ experience at the church, a monthly (first Wednesday of the month!) mid-day time set aside for Christ Church members and the community that provides opportunities for worship/spiritual development; lunch; and enrichment or educational programs.
Information about upcoming events will be publicized in the Connection and online. Those wishing to eat lunch with the group will need to pre-register.

The gatherings are on the first Wednesday of the month from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm.
Plans are currently being finalized for ENCORE’s FOURTH SEASON! Just look at our lineup!
- September 1st: Music Program (stay tuned for details soon!)
- October 6th: Rev. Dr. Bob Pierce discussing Native Americans
- November 3rd: “Steeples and Stained Glass,” a look at Houston architecture by the Heritage Society
- December 1st: Do You Hear What I Hear? Hand Bells!!!! Ms. Molly Ness
- January 5th: Holy Smiles, the Ministry of Sweetie the Clown
- February 2nd: Ms. Beth McConnell – nothing more needs to be said!
- March 3rd: A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Western
- April 6th: This Land is My Land, This Land is Your Land, This Land is God’s Land
- May 4th: ENCORE! ENCORE! (The Second Annual!)
