For those interested in a “first step” to Bible study, or in exploring the basics of Christianity, Alpha is a good choice. Alpha is a 10-week course that meets either on Tuesday mornings in a private home near the church or on Thursday evenings at Christ Church. This opportunity includes a meal and provides a relaxed, comfortable environment to ask and discuss your faith questions. Alpha is fun, informal, and friendly. It is offered in the fall and in the spring. For more information, contact Karen LaMotta.

Some of the topics that are covered include grace, salvation, the Trinity, eternal life, the Holy Spirit and much more. You will understand the connection between these Christian beliefs and Scripture as well as read some writings by Christians from ancient times to the present.
Disciple Bible Study is an in-depth, small group discussion-type study. This 34-week discussion based study takes you through 70% of the bible. Jesus in the Gospels
We need to study Jesus in the Gospels in order to know and meet Jesus. The heart of this in depth study focuses on Jesus himself, using the four Gospels, church creeds and readings of other faith witnesses from the early church . The Gospels were written so that today we may understand Jesus and his teaching better.
