Angel Tree
Every Christmas season, Christ Church sets up a Christmas Tree in the Gathering Hall decorated with the wishes of those in need. These include everything from a toy to a blanket to a Christmas dinner. Members are asked to take a wish off the tree, fulfill it, and bring the wrapped gift back to Christ Church for further distribution. The Angel Tree reaches out to Fort Bend by providing Christmas gifts and sharing God's love to the following groups:
- FBISD students and families who would have little or no Christmas without our help. These students are adopted through the Shared Dreams program.
- Christmas dinners for families involved with Child Protective Services(CPS) and Adult Protective Services(APS).
- Elderly people in local nursing homes by providing them with a small Christmas gift.
Volunteers are always needed with the Angel Tree program.
