Why Get Involved?
At Christ Church we believe God has given each of us a piece of his heart for building his Kingdom. We call this “his dream.” We desire to support our congregation to discover this dream and to become active at pursuing the dream.
God placed a different piece of his dream in each of our hearts. Within each of us lies a passion for making a difference in the world. Each of our passions is a little different and serves a different purpose in the big picture of building God’s Kingdom. Some of us are passionate about loving and nurturing children, some of us are passionate about organizing and planning events, some of us are passionate about sharing the gospel message, and some of us are passionate about caring for the ill. The numbers of passions are infinite, but they all important and have one thing in common. That is, all God-given passions and dreams are intended by our Creator to make a difference in the world, to build God’s Kingdom. What are you passionate about?
Second, God has equipped each of us with “special abilities” to empower us to accomplish his dream. These special abilities are called spiritual gifts. Spiritual gifts enable us to accomplish God’s good works.
Third, God structured our minds to organize and communicate in different ways. We call this our personal style. Some of us prefer social oriented work with other people. Some of us are more task-oriented. Some of us have a highly structured approach to our work, whereas some of us are unstructured.

Involvement ministries sponsors many ministries that are wholeheartedly committed to encouraging, supporting and equipping the congregation to use their Spiritual gifts as God intended, so that each of us can Open Our Hands and Build a Dream to change the world.
