Sara Fuchs, Assistant Director of Discipleship
I was born and raised in the great state of Oklahoma. Eleven years ago, I began a journey with God and students that has changed my life forever. As a college intern, I saw first hand what the love of God can do in the lives of students that are loved and nurtured in the life of faith. From that moment on, the mission of my life and heart has been to see the lives of students changed by the love and grace of God.
I graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. From there, I attended Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore Kentucky and graduated with my Master of Arts in Youth Ministry in 2003. Throughout the last 7 years, I have been a youth minister and children’s minister at churches in Oklahoma and Tennessee and here at Christ United Methodist Church.
I am very excited about this new step as Associate Director of Discipleship here at Christ Church. As the Assistant Director of Discipleship, my passion and calling is to see adults and families come to a saving, transforming relationship with Christ that will rock their world and to give them the tools to grow in that relationship each and every day.
