I began attending CUMC in 1989, and my three wonderful children are a big part of the reason I stayed. I wanted them to grow in the close and loving atmosphere at our church. In my role as superintendent, my primary passion is making God's house of worship beautiful. I truly believe He reached out and brought me here to this incredible church, and I thank Him everyday.
My job responsibilities are to maintain the CUMC building and grounds facilities, serve as staff sponsor for Board of Trustees, supervise maintenance and the weekend staff. I supervise contract custodial service and other service agreements, work with the IT team as directed by Trustees, work with landscape maintenance provider as well as volunteer teams. Obtain bids from contractors. I assure building inspections and permits for operation are maintained in a current fashion with required regulatory agencies and manage the policies for safe use of the facilities. I oversee security systems of facilities and maintain a warranty log of all new property purchased or donated for CUMC usage. I am responsible for issuance and replacement/repair of facility keys and card access keys.
