Rev. Linda Summers Pierce, Exec. Assoc. Pastor
After many years as a preaching associate in a large church in Tulsa and several other appointments as pastor-in-charge in the Oklahoma and North Arkansas Annual Conferences, Rev. Pierce was appointed to Christ United Methodist Church in June, 2005. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University, in 1992, and has since continued her education in spiritual formation, worship, and missions.
Her clergy spouse, the Rev. Dr. Robert Pierce, is appointed beyond the local church to his ministry, Sacred Worlds. Together they have five children and three beautiful granddaughters with whom they hope to build lasting memories.
She considers it a blessing and a privilege to serve such a vital, committed, and caring congregation and thanks God for the daily joy of supervising a dedicated staff in the areas of pastoral care, worship, outreach, communications, and missions. She knows God is at work in and through Christ Church and looks forward to what is to come.
