Jan Randolph, Director of Older Adult Ministries
I am a lifelong Methodist. My husband, Burke, and I joined Christ United Methodist Church in 2004. As part of this faith community I have served with Fort Bend Family Promise and on Care Team. I have a B.S. in Education and a M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling. In 2006, I retired after 27 years of teaching, and joined the staff of Christ Church in 2011 as Director of Older Adult Ministries. My primary responsibilities are teaching Bible studies within the church and out in the community, facilitating a variety of programs for older adults, and visiting in hospitals, homes and facilities with older adult residents.
I have two daughters, four granddaughters and one great granddaughter that are precious blessings from God. I find joy in attending to the beauties of God’s creation, particularly watching and listening to birds, and photographing flowers.
The more I recognize God’s faithfulness in my life, through worship, study of His Word, prayer and service, the more I am able to respond to His calling in faith. He continues to lead me into a deeper relationship with Him.
