Jeanne Damon, Director of Adult Discipleship
I moved to the Sugar Land area in August, 2008 when my husband John accepted a teaching position in FBISD. Within a few weeks I had met with Jim Love and many of the youth of Christ Church and accepted the position of Associate Youth Director. In December of 2009, I became the Interim Director of Student Ministries.
Previously I had served as Youth Director at Trinity UMC in Beaumont, TX and as Grade Level Pastor in the Junior High Ministries at College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, KS. I earned my BA in Youth and Family Ministry from Mid-America Nazarene University and my MA in Christian Education from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
I came into a relationship with Christ because of a dynamic and loving youth group my senior year of high school. My vision is to encourage students to deepen their faith in Jesus and in turn make a difference in peoples’ lives, the way my life was impacted 12 years ago.
