Jeanne Damon, Director of Adult Discipleship
I moved to the Sugar Land area in 2008 when my husband John accepted a teaching position in FBISD. Within a few weeks I joined the staff at Christ Church. My background is in youth ministry, and I earned my BA in Youth and Family Ministry from Mid-America Nazarene University and my MA in Christian Education from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
I came into a relationship with Christ because of a dynamic and loving youth group my senior year of high school. My vision is to encourage others to deepen their faith in Jesus and in turn make a difference in their lives, the way my life was impacted. As the Director of Adult DIscipleship, I work closely with Jason Nelson, Executive Director of Adult Discipleship. I oversee Adult Sunday School, HomeGroups, Women's Ministry, Family Ministry, Emmaus, and other adult small groups. I also assist with our redesigned worship service, the hub.
