Carla Clark, Building Superintendent
I have been blessed to be a member of Christ Church since 1985. During these years, I have been involved in many different areas of service in the church, from working with acolytes and serving on the Altar Guild, to being a charter member of UMW. I have been a member of the Chancel Choir and Festival Choir since 1992 and have been richly rewarded by the music we work so hard to learn and perform.
I joined the staff in March 2009, and welcomed the opportunity to bring my experience in commercial property management to Christ Church, as I supervise the property management of the building and maintain the church calendar. In addition, I spent 17 years with FBISD, where as an elementary school secretary, I was able to watch so many of the church’s children grow into adulthood.
I’m a native Hoosier. I was born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, which is basketball country and also the stomping grounds of some wonderful musicians such as Bill Gaither and Sandi Patty! I was baptized and raised in a little United Methodist Church where my grandparents were lifelong members, the “pillars of the church” type. I am the proud mother of two great adult sons, David, who lives in Houston, and Jeff, who resides in Lewisville, Texas.
